Tácito Matos has over 30 years of experience in law, with solid expertise and extensive practice in Legal matters, particularly in Tax, Administrative, and Regulatory Law. He was responsible for structuring the tax-legal department of Intelig, including negotiating benefits and special tax regimes, as well as selecting IT tax systems.

As a partner in law firms, he led teams with an average success rate of 80% in tax litigation cases, achieved not only through legal expertise but also through a detailed technical analysis of facts that strengthened the prepared defenses. He also structured tax planning alternatives that legally prevented the payment of hundreds of millions of reais. Over the past 10 years, he has worked in regulatory consulting for companies in various concessions and bidding processes, including highway, light rail, oil & gas fields, and sanitation projects.

He participated in the review of regulatory standards for charging the use of water resources and in the legislative process for creating the Payment for Environmental Services framework. Additionally, he worked for more than five years in the Regulatory and Strategic Litigation areas at Iguá Saneamento. With entrepreneurial experience, he was a partner in a tech startup and is currently a partner in a company focused on structuring and implementing sustainability-related projects.
